Generations Working Together

Generations Working Together (GWT) is the national centre of
excellence supporting the development and integration of intergenerational practice across Scotland.

Intergenerational practice aims to bring people together in purposeful, mutually beneficial activities which promote greater understanding and respect between younger and older generations. 

We are raising funds to help us continue our vital work across the Glasgow area providing support, training and resources to individuals, groups and organisations who want to connect younger and older generations.

Covid-19 has had a massive impact on the people of Scotland. Intergenerational projects completely halted last March leaving thousands of older and younger people feeling extremely isolated, lonely and in fear. Raising additional funds this winter will ensure GWT is able to give one to one support to care homes staff, residents, volunteers and others who are struggling to know how they can connect with people safely.
